JM Associates, Inc. provides project management and environmental compliance oversight services for the removal and disposal of leaking under/aboveground storage tanks (LUST/LASTs).  Oversight services are necessary to ensure LUST/AST spill remediation is performed in compliance with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Regulations.  We provide pre-remediation site inspections and on-site testing to determine and delineate petroleum-contaminated areas. Soil field screening is performed during the excavation of contaminated soil and follow up sampling is conducted upon completion of remediation work for closure and compliance purposes.  We also offer follow up groundwater monitoring and remediation services after the installation of groundwater monitoring well recovery systems for the remediation of petroleum contaminated groundwater.   As part of our oversight program, JM Associates, Inc. reviews all contractor invoices to assure that all work is properly billed and matches the work performed.
